It is the story of the psychological and social consequences of the transition from the tribal indigenous society to the Western mode brought about by the Imperialistic takeover. This 3 page paper argues that the British takeover forced changes that would have been resisted and delayed to the detriment of the society by way of the loss of their potential as represented by the next generation.
